Update on My Life
Don't you just hate PowerPoints? Well, even if you don't, I'm sure that you would be bored sick by a 59 slide presentation. Oh my gosh... And the sad thing is, it was my group's presentation that was 59 slides.
The Penrhos vs. Wesley netball match was at lunch. The guys ares s'posed to wear skirts, but half of them don't. Wimps. It wasn't all that exciting 'till they got some music pumping, and the croud to actually cheer. As always, Penrhos won the match.
I have a packet of 5 Chupa Chups in my locker. They're mine. Don't even think about it.
Right now I'm listening to Such Great Heights by The Postal Service. Actually, not true. I was just listening to it. Sweater by Eskimo Joe is playing. Hilarious. Such Great Heights has such a good chorus.
I reckon I'm getting these earrings for my birthday. And a card with my name on the front. Coz that's what we got for someone else I know, today. Well, that's what my mum got. Plus a mobile dangly thingy. But I won't be getting one of those, seeing as I don't have a mobile, and can't be bothered wanting one.
Well, now Tainted Love by Soft Cell is playing. S.O.S. (by Rihanna) is a great song, with a good beat, and it almost matches the original (they use the same background music), but I have a soft spot for the original version of a song. Like Rogue Trader's Watching You is crap compared to the original, My Sharona, which uses the same background music. But Such Great Heights is a cover. Iron & Wine originally sang it. Love the Postal Service's version, though.
